A Prayer for Peace

God of the Nations,
look upon the lands devastated by armed conflict
and show us the way to peace.
Turn our guns into plows and our bombs into bread.
Help us to remember that we are one world and one family.

The people of Kenya urgently need our prayers. Political violence stemming from the December elections is gripping the country. During this troubled time, Maryknoll Sisters serving in Kitale and Nairobi are helping Kenyans who are struggling with daily life. Please join us in sending your individual prayers for peace and safety for all Kenyans. Visit our Post-A-Prayer page to add your own reflections. Thank you.
